If for any reason you wish to not install Application Manager on your own machine, or in cases where the deployment workflow is not used, it will be necessary to remove or comment out references to Application Manager in the setup.ini file, found in the cdrom1 directory.
While some users may not install this feature, we recommend that you do because it is a really helpful way to be automatically notified when your 2015 product(s) has an update. If configured to do so, the Application Manager will automatically check for updates every 4 hours, which is the default, and notify the user when one becomes available for any of the 2015 (only) products installed.
